Originální abstrakt

The paper presents key outcome of the project "BUT English Campus" co-financed by the European Social Fund and the state budget of the Czech Republic within the operational programme Education for Competitiveness. BUTEC is an electronic module serving as a tool for BUT students and staff to develop their language skills. The e-learning module is incorporated in the university information system using the moodle environment and can be used as a support to individual study or to the attended courses. Apart from additional materials (e.g. interactive pronunciation guide, grammar exercises, etc.) it includes a range of videos on different language levels (A2 to C1). Main part of each level is therefore the video course created at the Institute of Foreign Languages, FME, BUT. The videos are supplemented with comments and language tips, as well as exercises testing comprehension, grammar and vocabulary.

Český abstrakt

Příspěvek prezentuje projekt "BUT English Campus" spolufinancovaný z Evropského sociálního fondu a státního rozpočtu České republiky v rámci OP VK. BUTEC je elektronický modul, jehož cílem je podpořit jazykovou vybavenost studentů a zaměstnanců VUT v Brně. Kromě doplňkových materiálů (např. interaktivní animace výslovnosti, gramatická cvičení apod.) obsahuje především soubor videí na různých jazykových úrovních (A2 až C1), která byla vytvořena autorským týmem Ústavu jazyků FSI VUT v Brně . Videa jsou doplněna komentáři a jazykovými tipy, a rovněž cvičeními na testování porozumění, gramatiky a slovní zásoby. Zaměřují se na běžné situace (A2-B2) a tzv. soft skills (C1).
