Význam teorie plasticity při matematickém popisu tvářecích pochodů je bezpochyby uznáván a také veškeré aplikace při řešení tvářecích dějů teoretické závěry respektují, avšak ne vždy správně interpretují. Předkládaný příspěvek se zabývá aplikací zákonitostí teorie plasticity při rozboru plastické deformace v uvažovaném bodě tvářeného tělesa a stanovením mechanického schématu deformace.

The significance of plasticity theory in mathematical representation of metal-forming processes is generally acknowledged, and all the applications involved in the solution of metal-forming events respect the theoretical conclusions but do not always interpret them correctly. This paper deals with the application of the principles of plasticity theory in the analysis of plastic deformation at the respective point of the body being formed, and with establishing the mechanical schema of strain.
