The goal of measurement was to set the affecting forces on the rope during the aero-tow and with different flight regime and position of towing aircraft. The solo occupied Samba OK – HOA38 aircraft with Rotax 912 ULS 100Hp engine was used for towing. Blanik L23 with two pilots was the towing aircraft. The take-offs were done from two different surfaces and the length of take-off was not measured. All measured quantities were recorded with ESAM Traveler plus that was placed on the free seat next to the pilot ones. The camera record was used for determination mutual position between the both aircraft, and thereby evaluation of the extreme angles of yaw influence of the towing aircraft on the total force on the rope. The measured data were processed and average and maximal forces were set during the individual flights.
