"Industrial" samples of three low-alloy CrMoVW steel types exposed to long-term use in power plants (30,900-141,500 h at temperatures of 500-510 °C) were analysed using analytical electrone microscipy. The carbides M2C, MC, M7C3 and M23C6 where foud in the body-centred cubic matrix. It was ascertained that, even after e very long service time, samples were not entirely in a state of equilibrium.
