In introductory course of physics the students should be use the personal computer in all stages of laboratory work: the preparation of experiment, the control of measurement, the data acquisition and presentation of the results in the form of the laboratory report. The characteristic of available software products for control of measurement, data acquisition and presentation of the results are discussed. For the measurement control we suggest the utilisation of universal software for setting of all important parameters of the measurement. The spreadsheet calculator is suggested for data acquisition and presentation. A proper way of utilisation of Excel for data acquisition will be demonstrated on several examples.
