This crankshaft is designed for an internal-combustion spark-ignition engine with special firing intervals on which it is further examined the psychoacoustic effect of the powertrain, even in comparison with the standard engine concept. The front end of the crankshaft is designed to drive other systems, such as valvetrain, balancing shaft, oil pump of pressure circulation lubrication, and also for mounting the pulley, driving engine accessories. The flywheel, including ring gear for electric starter, is attached to the rear end of the crankshaft.
