Originální abstrakt
The influence of driver-asymmetries and termination imbalance on the common-mode and differential-mode frequency spectra is studied. Both asymmetries are included into one pa-rameter denoted as current-imbalance frequency-depended factor. This allows direct quantifi-cation of the total parasitic voltage on the ground plane of a PCB, which is a measure for un-wanted electromagnetic radiation. A comparison with conventional single-ended trace routing shows degradation of EMI behaviour of differential signalling under realistic conditions.
