Originální abstrakt

Biotribology embraces a wide range of research topics from artificial joints and implants to hair conditioners and soft-tissue friction. Although this is one of the most exciting research areas in Tribology there is at present no dedicated Biotribology Conference. Very many research meetings include a few Biotribology sessions tucked away in the schedule; these range from Biophysics and Engineering to Cosmetics and Chemistry. ICoBT will bring researchers with diverse interests together in one meeting focussed solely on Biotribology. We hope the conference theme will attract scientists from outside the traditional tribology engineering domain.
