[popis] => Článek se zabývá výpočtovým modelováním deformačně-napěťových stavů ve zdravých a patologických kyčelních kloubech dospělého člověka.
Problém určení deformace a napjatosti v prvcích kyčelního kloubu má charakter úlohy obecné pružnosti. Z těchto důvodů budou podstatné mechanické veličiny fyziologického a patologického kyčelního spojení zjišťovány pomocí výpočtového modelování na prostorových (3-D) modelech a to numericky, metodou konečných prvků (MKP) s využitím výpočtového systému ANSYS.

[popis_en] => This article deals with biomechanical problems of physiologically and pathologically developed hip joints of adult human. Numerous disorders of the hip joint are characterized by various deformities of the femoral head and acetabulum, which are a frequent cause of unfavourable mechanical conditions and decrease of moveability in the joint accompanied by pain. A lot of deformities of the hip joint can be treated with a suitable surgical interventions based on the improvement of improper mechanical conditions in the hip joint that result from modification and reconstruction of its geometry. For modelling of particular types of the surgical interventions on pathological hip joints (osteotomies, acetabuloplasty), it is necessary to analyse the behaviour of physiological (healthy) and pathological (dysplastic) hip joint. These problems have currently been a common subject of investigations carried out by the Institute of Mechanics of Solids, Mechatronics and Biomechanics, FME BUT and First Orthopaedic Department, St. Annes University Hospital in Brno.

[popis] => This paper deals with increasing of the computation modelling level of the reliability problem of ceramic heads of total hip joint endoprostheses. The solution to this problem was invoked by recent more frequent failures of these heads in clinical practice. Results of computational and experimental modelling have shown a substantial influence of shape deviations in the conical connection between stem and head on the initiation of ceramic head fractures. The fracture probability was evaluated step by step for various macroscopic shape deviations in the conical connection and then for microscopic shape deviations superposed on the macroscopic deviations. The solution to the problem of ceramic head reliability requires realization of two computational models: one for determination of stress states and another one for evaluation of the fracture probability. Material characteristics of ceramics used in fracture probability evaluation have been determined by a three-point-bending test till now. Within the framework of this paper is that the characteristics will be determined by destruction tests of ceramic heads and they will be used as new input data in the computational variants realized till now.

[popis_en] => This paper deals with increasing of the computation modelling level of the reliability problem of ceramic heads of total hip joint endoprostheses. The solution to this problem was invoked by recent more frequent failures of these heads in clinical practice. Results of computational and experimental modelling have shown a substantial influence of shape deviations in the conical connection between stem and head on the initiation of ceramic head fractures. The fracture probability was evaluated step by step for various macroscopic shape deviations in the conical connection and then for microscopic shape deviations superposed on the macroscopic deviations. The solution to the problem of ceramic head reliability requires realization of two computational models: one for determination of stress states and another one for evaluation of the fracture probability. Material characteristics of ceramics used in fracture probability evaluation have been determined by a three-point-bending test till now. Within the framework of this paper is that the characteristics will be determined by destruction tests of ceramic heads and they will be used as new input data in the computational variants realized till now.

CT slices of the lumbar spondyle. Mechanical interaction in joint section of spine between spondyles is modeled by using contact elements. The arthral contact was supported with respect to complication of geometry by creating of cartilage with suitable thickness. This analysis is made by using FEM software ANSYS for a few variations. The results of this analysis contribute to view about effort of the vertebral segment.

[popis_en] => For the analytical calculation of shear stresses in beams, Žuravskij's theory is used. There is a verification of this theory in the report. The report mainly contains new scientific knowledge about shear stress concentration. None of the currently used analytical calculation has included influence of shear stress concentration in the point of transition flange - web (for example I-beams, T-beams). While solving problems connected with shear, I decided to try to resolve the question of the shear stress concentration in general. The general approach to shear stress consisted in forming "some" shear stress concentration factor. By using this factor it is possible to include shear stress concentration in analytical calculations similarly like normal stress. Further, I present what values the shear stress concentration factor can reach on normalized beams.
