[popis] => This paper presents an approach to the axis straightness measurement of cylindrical forgings and shows results of the first experimental measurement in laboratory conditions. The proposed image-based system is based on the assumption that actual shape of the cylindrical forging axis can be determined (in the simplest case) from four boundary curves which lie in two mutually perpendicular planes. Four boundary curves can be obtained by detecting forging edges in two images. The measurement approach was tested in laboratory conditions on the cylindrical rod sample of room temperatures with length of 700 mm and diameter of 45 mm. Results of image-based measurement ware compared with results of measurement by industrial 3D scanner Atos III Triple Scan. In the case of maximum deflection size, the difference between both measurement methods is less than 0.3 mm; in the case of angle of maximal deflection is less than 3 degrees. Despite the positive forecasts, additional measurements must be performed to determine the repeatability of the measurement on different sized samples. Further work will be devoted to testing and optimizing the measurement of hot forgings.

[nazev_en] => Photogrammetry based system for the measurement of cylindrical forgings axis straightness
[popis_en] => This paper presents an approach to the axis straightness measurement of cylindrical forgings and shows results of the first experimental measurement in laboratory conditions. The proposed image-based system is based on the assumption that actual shape of the cylindrical forging axis can be determined (in the simplest case) from four boundary curves which lie in two mutually perpendicular planes. Four boundary curves can be obtained by detecting forging edges in two images. The measurement approach was tested in laboratory conditions on the cylindrical rod sample of room temperatures with length of 700 mm and diameter of 45 mm. Results of image-based measurement ware compared with results of measurement by industrial 3D scanner Atos III Triple Scan. In the case of maximum deflection size, the difference between both measurement methods is less than 0.3 mm; in the case of angle of maximal deflection is less than 3 degrees. Despite the positive forecasts, additional measurements must be performed to determine the repeatability of the measurement on different sized samples. Further work will be devoted to testing and optimizing the measurement of hot forgings.

We use the back-propagation algorithm to train the neural network for predicting future value of a time series. To evolve prediction agents we use grammatical evolution with backwards processing and equalization operator. Finally the results of both methods are compared by their ability to predict time series values, by time needed to create prediction model and setup difficulty.

[popis] => The purpose of the paper is to introduce and discuss a special problem related to congested traffic networks. In 1968, Braess presented an example of careless network changes, which led in congested networks to higher density of traffic. Since then, various versions of network design problems have been studied and clarified. We focus on phenomena accompanying many network design applications, specifically, the reconstruction of a network and its partial closure. A bilevel structure of the studied problem is tackled by the use of Karush-Kuhn-Tucker conditions. The obtained nonlinear integer program can be solved by the use of modelling optimization software as, e.g., GAMS. However, only small instances can be successfully solved within the acceptable time limits. For the large model instances, as the considered modification of the known Sioux Falls test case, the hybrid algorithmic
framework combining the use of deterministic solvers encapsulated in GAMS with the genetic algorithm has been designed.

[popis_en] => The purpose of the paper is to introduce and discuss a special problem related to congested traffic networks. In 1968, Braess presented an example of careless network changes, which led in congested networks to higher density of traffic. Since then, various versions of network design problems have been studied and clarified. We focus on phenomena accompanying many network design applications, specifically, the reconstruction of a network and its partial closure. A bilevel structure of the studied problem is tackled by the use of Karush-Kuhn-Tucker conditions. [popis] => Research interest within the Mathematics group in the Institute of Automation and Computer Science of the Brno UT, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is focused on the creation and application of mathematical methods of operational research for project management and production control. Some results achieved by members of the mathematics group and its PhD
students are published in Handbook of Optimization, Springer-Verlag, Berlin-Heidelberg, 2013. A heuristic method for the multicriteria selection of the group of project is being developed in the institute. This method enables the objectification of
weights of the partial non-linear criteria functions, involves synergistic effects of second- and third- orders in benefit and cost criterion function, and in resource requirements respecting resource sharing and hierarchical contingency relationships among candidate projects, and dialogue of the solution. In the project scheduling, the two-criteria time-cost minimization problem,
solved by fuzzy linear programming, is a basis of the program system created here, as well as a technique for deriving a time-periodical production schedule for a group of products in a group of workplaces having limited capacity, performing cost optimization by lot size alteration. The manager could also observe, monitor or visualise effectively the differences between the scheduled and the actual courses of projects through the SSD Graph.

[popis_en] => Research interest within the Mathematics group in the Institute of Automation and Computer Science of the Brno UT, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is focused on the creation and application of mathematical methods of operational research for project management and production control. Some results achieved by members of the mathematics group and its PhD
students are published in Handbook of Optimization, Springer-Verlag, Berlin-Heidelberg, 2013. A heuristic method for the multicriteria selection of the group of project is being developed in the institute. This method enables the objectification of
weights of the partial non-linear criteria functions, involves synergistic effects of second- and third- orders in benefit and cost criterion function, and in resource requirements respecting resource sharing and hierarchical contingency relationships among candidate projects, and dialogue of the solution. In the project scheduling, the two-criteria time-cost minimization problem,
solved by fuzzy linear programming, is a basis of the program system created here, as well as a technique for deriving a time-periodical production schedule for a group of products in a group of workplaces having limited capacity, performing cost optimization by lot size alteration. The manager could also observe, monitor or visualise effectively the differences between the scheduled and the actual courses of projects through the SSD Graph.
